Beihu Airport Industrial Park, situated in Huatang Town of Beihu District, has been leveraging Chenzhou Beihu Airport to build aviation industrial clusters in sectors of advanced smart manufacturing, smart logistics, and air services.

To inject a strong impetus into the development of western Beihu, it welcomed Ecolivling, a Finnish enterprise, for which it launched a construction project of intelligent technology & smart warehousing center.

With the airport economic zone as its battlefield, Beihu District is divided into a three-level development concentric circle which contains such places as Beihu Airport Industrial Park based on Beihu Airport, urban agglomeration area centered on Huatang Town, Huatang modern agricultural agglomeration area, Anhe comprehensive airport supporting service area, as well as Xiaobu cultural and sports education area.

So far, Beihu District has received over 40 companies and more than 80 merchants for investigation tours. Its teams for attracting business have been to other cities like Shenzhen, Foshan, and Changsha at least 20 times, and its leader groups 5 times. A total of 23 business meetings have been held for cooperation on seven major industrial chains, with 40 plus project deals inked.

Besides, 20 investment projects worth 8.728 billion yuan in total have been signed. They include four projects invested by businessmen who are natives of Hunan (Chenzhou), which cost 1.58 billion yuan, and 7 cultural tourism projects with a total investment of 910 million yuan.
